In the healthcare setting, today’s workplace environment is more complex than ever. This program will guide participants in shaping their personal style to become more effective communicators. Participants will practice listening skills, workplace diplomacy, phrasing their messages appropriately and dealing with challenging clients & patients. This course is suitable for both beginning and intermediate levels. There is an introduction to improving communication, which is necessary and appropriate for beginners. It also applies to intermediate levels as it expands upon the introductory level, focusing on a deeper understanding of personal communication style and communicating effectively in the healthcare setting.
