Description

It is common for Social Workers to prefer individualized supervision. However, it is important to explore reasons why group supervision is highly beneficial. In this interactive seminar, participants will learn why group supervision is helpful while experiencing some creative techniques. The participant will leave with skills and creative ideas to help implement group supervision in the workplace and privately.

This course is suitable for both beginning and intermediate levels.  There is an introduction to the concept of supervision which is necessary and appropriate for beginners.  It also applies to intermediate levels as it expands upon the introductory level, focusing on the role of the professional as educator and support to those being supervised creating new approaches.
